A Data Engineer-turned-UX-Designer, living in Greater Boston region seeking UX/UI opportunities.
I have always been inclined towards designing but it was during the sabbatical that I rediscovered my unquenchable thirst towards my past lost passion and decided to switch my career from a Data Engineer to a UX Designer. I have a deep, enduring interest in designing and finding solutions for problems that stems from a lifelong curiosity about how things work and a desire to figure out a way to make them work better for people. With UX Design, I get to extend that passion into the workplace.
With 3 years of experience in data warehouse design, development, implementation, integration and analysis, communicating with different kinds of clients, employers, and customers I have honed my analytical and critical thinking skills. Optimizing work processes and workflows has always been a part of my job. Now, I’m looking forward to applying the same principles to designing user flows and brands that make a positive impact on people’s lives and make digital products easier and more intuitive to use. With my passion for not only user research and prototyping, but also pixel-perfection, I go beyond the usual UX Designer by incorporating UI in my current skillset. My artistic and crafty background has also given me unique insight into complex projects and what affects their success. With my strong organizational and empathetic skills, a fine eye for detail and willingness to learn to deliver positive user experience, I can be an asset to any team.
